Christmas Decorating Continues!

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, I am working at a feverish pace to decorate as much as possible before my guests arrive. I spent the entire morning today pulling together a gorgeous dining room table only for my husband to inquire why?- when we just have to remove it all to eat?? Those that are lost to the insanity of Christmas madness cannot begin to understand that it is one more section of the house that I can call FINISHED!! I am still wading through a cache of Christmas ornaments and baubles, but at least now I feel like I have made some headway. The dining table above is really more for decorative purposes than function. We will eat our Thanksgiving feast upon it, but beyond that, it is all about aesthetics!! My vision for the table was to capture the celestial ambiance that we seek during the holidays. I decided to pull all my angels as well as candlesticks for this table scape. I was able to coordinate the window garland behind the table with the decor on the table. It really turned out beautiful. We always have a heartwarming moment when grace is said and we reminisce about those that have gone before us. I wanted to capture their essence by having angels flank the table and really have their presence all around us. If you like the table, go to my YouTube and check how how I went about assembling it.I hope that you are all looking forward to some time with your family and friends. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving! Eat fast, you have more decorating to do!!!!
